CRG Team Donates to Local Women’s Group

Our team recently celebrated the holiday season and another amazing year together at the Dunes Club in Myrtle Beach for our bi-annual team party. This year we were approached by one of our suppliers, Ferguson Enterprises, to join their holiday donation drive to benefit New Directions, a center for women and children. Thanks to the overwhelming response from our entire crew as well as other suppliers along the Grand Strand, the goal for donations of clothing, toys, household goods, and toiletries was exceeded!

The Center for Women and Children (CWC) provides non-emergency, long term, housing to assist with the transition out of homelessness and poverty. Programs provided by this local organization are designed to teach residents the life skills they need to transform their lives in a positive way. Services encompass personal development, mentoring, and parenting techniques tailored to the unique needs to each resident, ensuring the transition to self reliance and independence required to become full-functional members of society.

Donations helped provide assistance for more than just the holiday season of gift giving. While plenty of toys were donated to provide a special time for the children served by the center, countless every day items, including new clothing, will help sustain the residents of CWC far beyond the holidays.
