Murrells Inlet offers several gated communities with available homes from many different price points. Murrells Inlet is located just 15 minutes south of Myrtle Beach and has many naturally occurring amenities.

Murrells Inlet has two public boat landings that are only a few miles apart. One boat landing is on a Murrells Inlet tidal creek that connects to the Atlantic Ocean, and the other is on the Waccamaw River. If you enjoy saltwater or fresh water boating or fishing, each boat landing is only minutes from each Murrells Inlet neighborhood.

Murrells Inlet has seen an abundance of growth over the last 10 years in both residential and commercial development. A new hospital has been constructed, two grocery stores, shopping centers, restaurants, several small retail shops, and more!

Murrells Inlet Gated Neighborhoods

Wachesaw Plantation - Gated private golf course community featuring mature landscaping, pool, restaurant, tennis courts, clubhouse, and more. Wachesaw Plantation offers homes, cottages, and townhomes. 

Wachesaw East - Gated golf community featuring homes, townhomes, and condos.

Collins Creek Landing - Gated community on Collins Creek offers ease of access to the Waccamaw River. This community offers lots and many newly constructed homes. 

Highwood - This gated community is located in the Prince Creek master planned development. This community offers custom homes and lots on the TPC of Myrtle Beach golf course.  

Waverly Bay - This Murrells Inlet gated community is located within the Bays of Prince Creek. This is the only community in the Bays that allows custom home construction. CRG Construction is currently building a home on lot 11 that is for sale. This home is 2,500 heated sq/ft and has many upgrades! 

Charlestown Bay - This small community is within the Bays of Prince Creek.

Palm Bay - Located within the Bays of Prince Creek, Palm Bay offers residential lots down the road from the TPC Myrtle Beach Golf Course. These homes are often new and mid-priced with the option to build your own custom home on any of the available lots for sale. Residents have access to the great community amenities shared by the neighborhoods in the Bays.

Laurel Bay - This is a residential home community found in the Bays of Prince Creek. Residents enjoy all the amenities offered to the neighborhoods at the Bays, like the clubhouse with an exclusive pool, a soccer field, baseball field, basketball court, volleyball court, and an amenity center with an outdoor, covered picnic area, outdoor fireplace, and several outdoor fire pits.

Willow Bay - This neighborhood is within the Bays of Prince Creek. Choose your lot and choose from a variety of plans offered. Homes are being built by Sunbelt Homes of Myrtle Beach

Shallow Creek Bay - This residential community within the Bays of Prince Creek offers beautiful lots that back up to ponds or wooded, conservation areas, a 10-acre amenity center with a pool, tennis courts, a basketball course, and more, and natural, Southern landscaping.

Johns Bay - These Murrells Inlet townhomes are found in the Bays of Prince Creek. These townhomes feature garages. 

Seasons at Prince Creek West - This is Prince Creek's only 55 and older community. This neighborhood features world-class, on-site amenities with residential lots within a secure, gated community.

Bellwood Landing - This gated community features residential lots and custom homes for sale. Choose your lot and build your dream home. Many of the lots found within this community are located on Collins Creek and allow boat docks. 

Creek Harbour - This is a gated community featuring residential lots and homes. This community has a boat ramp, offers a place for boat storage, and is located on Collins Creek. Lots within this community are at least 1/2 acre.

Wilderness Plantation - This is gated community offers large residential lots and is one of the only neighborhoods in the Murrells Inlet area to allow horses. Many of the homes found within this community are on 5+ acre lots.

Hunters Grove - This gated community features residential lots and homes. Choose a lot and build your favorite custom designed home with your choice of a builder and enjoy great amenities and close proximity to local restaurants, entertainment, and the beach! 

Woodlawn Plantation - This gated community features residential lots and coastal-style homes located on a 17-acre pond. Every residential lot and home within this community has a wonderful view overlooking the water! 

The Hermitage - This exclusive gated community can be found on the waterfront in Murrells Inlet surrounded by moss-dropped, live oaks. This community is only a few blocks from the ever-popular Marshwalk. There are only 2 residential lots that have not been built on in this community.

Belle Vue - This neighborhood can be found on the banks of the Murrells Inlet tidal creek. Many of the lots in this community have dock permits that allow homeowners to access the Murrells Inlet tidal creek. This community offers residential lots and homes, a neighborhood gazebo, and a day dock. Property owners have plenty of flexibility with no specified time frame and their choice of custom home builder.
